As a new mother, this book brought me a lot of encouragement and gave me many feelings of wanting to be better. I once had a college professor tell me that a good way to improve your family life is to get to know families you admire and pick their brains for ideas of what they do to be a strong family. This was the closest thing to that, without actually knowing the authors personally! I loved it, and hope to have a strong family myself as I learn to do what is written in this book.

This book is well written. It is insightful, full of great tips and a fresh perspective on being in the trenches of mothering. Shawni and Linda make a great team. Beautiful photos add just the right touch. All women would enjoy this book…not just for mothers.

This book is so perfect for moms – short fun-to-read chapters packed with real ideas from real moms. The photography is beautiful and the ideas really feel do-able. I loved that I could read a chapter in the few snippets of time that a mom gets and come away feeling recharged.
